CORONAVIRUS QUERIES HELPINE - ring 111 and select option 1

If you have returned from the following listed countries and have any of these symptoms - cough, fever or difficulty breathing or have been in contact with a confirmed case of novel Coronavirus, please contact the dedicated helpline on 111 and select option 1 for advice or information - this service is available 24 hours a day.

~ China, Thailand, Japan, Republic of Korea, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Singapore, Malaysia and Macau in the last 14 days; or Northern Italy (defined as the line above and not including Pisa, Florence and Rimini), Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos and Myamar since February 19th 2020

Please DO NOT attend the surgery or hospital without first phoning in advance.

Clinics & Services

Asthma / COPD Clinic

Appointments Friday 10:00 – 12:00

We recommend that all asthmatic /COPD patients are reviewed regularly by the practice nurse/doctor. They will look at how well your asthma is controlled, your inhaler technique and any medication or inhalers you are taking. 

Cervical Smear Clinic

Appointments Wednesday 10:00 – 12:00

All women between the ages of 25 - 65 are offered a cervical smear which is recommended every 3 years for those aged 25 - 49 and every 5 years for those aged 50 - 65. We will invite you each time your smear is due. All patients are informed of their results usually within 4 - 6 weeks.

Childhood Immunisations

Appointments Wednesday 10:00 – 12:00

This clinic is organised by the child health. Your child will receive a card in the post with the time and date for his/her scheduled appointment. Any unscheduled vaccines must be arranged with the health visitor.

 

Minor Surgery (Joint injections)

Tuesday afternoon  3pm

Minor surgery may be arranged following an appointment with the doctor.

 

Dermatology Clinic (Nurse Specialist)

Thursday 9am-10:40am.

May be arranged following an appointment with the doctor.

 

Antenatal Services

Available by normal surgery appointment with any of the GPs, an appointment with the treatment room nurse should be made at the same time.

 

Postnatal Clinic

Available by appointment on Tuesday afternoon.

 

Family Planning

Available by normal surgery appointment with any of the Doctors. For Emergency contraception speak to your Doctor in the Surgery or by Telephone.

 

Treatment Room

Appointments are available in the treatment room during opening hours for any of the following.

Appointments should be booked in advance

  • Blood tests
  • ECG
  • BP check
  • Height & weight Checks
  • Urine Tests
  • Dressings
  • Ear Syringing (Tues/Wed pm only)
